I can't imagine a more wonderful man to honor or a better life of service to celebrate. I've known Dennis for over 45 years, since we were youngsters together in Fresno, California. He's a good, kind and decent man who served his country with honor when it was not "cool" to do so. I am so proud to call him my friend.

Today being Father's Day, I found it quite appropriate that I found this site. Mr. Thamm - thank you for creating such an amazing piece of art that is a perfect example of an equally amazing person. He has worked his whole life to make a better life for his family, and has succeeded in every aspect. He never talked much to me about his experiences in the Navy, but I also knew better than to ask about the hard topics. Every once in a while I hear about other people's experiences with him, and every time I meet someone they have nothing but good to say. To the person who wrote the comment before this, thank you. Seeing this painting and reading that comment made today the best Father's Day I have ever had. Things like this make me very proud to call Dennis Burgi my dad.

I love you Dad.

I have know Dennis for only a couple of years now, and I am proud to call him my friend. He is an incredibly giving, generous, kind-hearted, and genuine man. I feel like I have known him my entire life, and I know without a doubt that if either I, or his country, came calling, he would give everything he had ro defend us. Thanks for everything, Dennis.
